Targeted procedures in a safe environment

Sometimes, certain oral health issues can only be corrected through minor surgery. This is the case, for example, with impacted teeth, receding gums, or infected tissue. In these situations, our priority is to offer you well-planned care, performed in a reassuring environment, with precise procedures and clear communication at every step.

Dental surgery is an integral part of our clinical practice. Contrary to what one might think, these procedures are generally minimally invasive and aim to prevent more serious complications. Whether it's to extract a problematic tooth or strengthen the tissues supporting the teeth, our team takes the time to assess your condition and offer you a personalized treatment plan.

At Dentown Dental Center, we offer two main types of surgical procedures: wisdom tooth extraction and gum grafting. Other types of surgery may also be recommended as needed, or referred to a specialist when appropriate.

Extraction des dents de sagesse
Prévenir les complications avant qu’elles surviennent

Prevent complications before they arise

Wisdom teeth, also known as third molars, often appear between the ages of 17 and 25. In many people, there is not enough space for them to come in completely, or they grow in the wrong direction. This can lead to:

  • Pain or swelling in the back of the jaw;
  • Infection or abscesses around partially erupted teeth;
  • Damage to adjacent teeth due to pressure;
  • Cysts or other complications.

After an examination and panoramic X-ray, we can determine whether extraction is necessary. The procedure is performed under local anesthesia in a calm and safe environment. In more complex cases, a specialist may be involved.

Gentle and precise surgical care

Each surgical procedure is carefully planned based on your medical history, your comfort, and current best practices. Our team ensures that you are well informed before, during, and after treatment. Personalized advice and post-operative follow-up are always included.
