A cosmetic solution for a natural and balanced smile

Dental veneers are an excellent option for quickly improving the appearance of your smile in a natural and attractive way. Whether you want to correct stained, worn, chipped, or slightly misaligned teeth, veneers can transform your smile while preserving the structure of your natural teeth.

At Dentown Dental Center, we offer two types of veneers: composite or porcelain. Each option has specific advantages, depending on your aesthetic expectations, budget, and oral health.

Dental Veneers

Qu’est-ce qu’une facette dentaire ?

What is a dental veneer?

A veneer is a thin shell that covers the visible surface of the tooth. It is used to correct cosmetic imperfections while maintaining the harmony of your face. Unlike a crown, it does not cover the entire tooth, but only the front part.

Veneers can be used to correct:

  • Deep or irreversible discoloration (caused by certain medications or trauma, for example);
  • Wear on the front teeth;
  • Visible gaps between teeth (diastemas);
  • Irregular shape or slightly uneven alignment.

Composite veneers: affordable and quick

Composite veneers are molded directly onto the teeth during an appointment at the clinic. This technique is more affordable than porcelain and produces very satisfactory aesthetic results.

Advantages: quick treatment, more affordable, simple repairs possible if damaged.

Limitations: less durable, more susceptible to staining and wear over time. Retouching or replacement may be necessary after a few years.

Porcelain veneers: durability and superior finish

Porcelain veneers are custom-made in a laboratory from impressions of the teeth that will receive them. They offer a more translucent finish that perfectly mimics the appearance of natural teeth and better resistance to wear.

Before placement, a thin layer of enamel is removed from the tooth to ensure proper adhesion. This makes it an irreversible treatment, as the removed enamel cannot be restored. In addition, the process usually requires two appointments.

Advantages: very natural appearance, high stain resistance, longer life with good care.

Limitations: higher cost, irreversible procedure.

An approach focused on your goals

During your consultation, we will take the time to assess the condition of your teeth, discuss your expectations, and recommend the best option for your situation. Veneers can be used alone or in combination with other treatments (whitening, orthodontics, etc.) for a harmonious result.

Each treatment is tailor-made to complement your natural smile.
