Strengthen, restore, replace
Damaged or missing teeth are not just a cosmetic issue: they can interfere with chewing, throw your teeth out of alignment, and lead to other long-term problems. Dental crowns and fixed bridges are durable, proven solutions for restoring the function and appearance of your smile.
At Dentown Dental Center, we offer these restorations with care and precision, using high-quality materials and a personalized approach.
Crowns and Bridges

What is a dental crown?
A crown is an artificial tooth that completely covers a weakened or treated tooth, for example after root canal treatment. It completely covers the visible tooth and protects it from fractures or wear.
It is recommended in the following situations, among others:
- Severe tooth decay or damage;
- Teeth weakened by root canal treatment;
- Prematurely worn teeth;
- Inadequate previous restoration;
Crowns are custom-made in a laboratory from resistant materials such as ceramic, porcelain, or zirconium. They are aesthetic and designed to blend in with your natural teeth.
What is a dental bridge?
A fixed bridge replaces one or more missing teeth by relying on adjacent teeth, called abutments. Two crowns, located at the ends of the bridge, rest on the abutment teeth and support the replacement teeth, called “pontics.”
The bridge is permanently cemented to the abutment teeth. It is not removed on a daily basis, like a removable denture.
The advantages of a bridge:
- It preserves the alignment of neighboring teeth;
- It restores the ability to chew properly;
- It improves the appearance of the smile.

A precise, step-by-step process
Whether for a crown or a bridge, the procedure usually takes place over two appointments.
- Preparation of the tooth or teeth: removal of damaged tissue and adjustment of the shape.
- Impression taking: to create a restoration that fits your teeth perfectly.
- Installation of a temporary restoration: while waiting for the permanent crown or bridge.
- Final cementation: after testing, adjustments, and checking the bite.
Offering a durable and stable solution
Well-maintained crowns and bridges can last for many years. Proper brushing, flossing, and regular follow-up visits can extend their life. We give you all the advice you need to take care of them from the moment they are cemented in place.

Who are these restorations for?
Crowns and bridges are recommended for people who want to restore functional, stable, and attractive teeth. They are suitable for all ages, as long as the health of the tooth or the loss of a tooth warrants it.
In some cases, other options such as implants may be considered. We will take the time to discuss with you to choose the most appropriate solution.
