This change marks an important step toward greater access to care.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">To be eligible, you must:<\/span><\/p><ul><li><b>Be a resident of Canada for tax purposes;<\/b><\/li><li><b>Have filed a tax return for the previous year;<\/b><\/li><li><b>Not be covered by private dental insurance, an employer or retirement plan;<\/b><\/li><li><b>Have an adjusted net family income of less than $90,000<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Depending on your income, the program may cover 40% to 100% of the cost of eligible dental care.
